Spring Break!!! It's second in favorite's only to summer break in the mind of every school aged child, and teacher! The mark that winter is finally over and warm weather will soon be an everyday occurrence. A chance to renew your soul, or refresh a few things around the house. Whatever your plans, spring break is a welcomed week.

My plans include spending time with all four kids and my husband. Our opportunities to spend time altogether are becoming fewer now that they are getting older, so I am excited for the chance to hang out with them! I'm also excited to spend some time catching up on my Bible reading. I may be on the 2 year plan, but I'm forging ahead and may make it through the book of Leviticus this week!

The verse that hit me this morning is Romans 12:1-3 . "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will."

(I love verses that have promises attached to them!! It's like getting this little reward for doing what God wants you to do!!)

I've been challenged from Barron's messages the last few weeks to make my faith an every moment event. God has brought me to a place where I know that I need Him every day to live! As a little girl I gave my life to Jesus, but only within the last few years did I come to a point in my life where I wake up and say, I need you Lord. I like living like that. I no longer can get by with 'just a little Jesus' on Sundays, I no longer do it out of obligation.

Thank you God for waking me up!!

I pray that God brings each one of us to the truth that we need Him every day to live! I hope this week we will have time to refresh and renew our relationship with our families, and also with God.
